How to Apply for a Grant Workshop - Update on Event held on Tuesday 27th September 2016

 

We have had a programme of  free workshops for community groups in local Neighbourhood Partnership areas to help groups improve their skills in preparing grant applications.

We have recently held successful Workshops in Leith, East and South Edinburgh attracting 39 participants. Comments left by delegates included:-

Future events

I have retired from the Council  on 31/3/17 so  no further Workshops are planned at present. Please check this page in case circumstances should change in the future.  

 

Successful Workshop held in September 2016

A free Workshop was presented by  Almond  & Western Voluntary Sector Forum/Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council & supported by the City of Edinburgh Council.

"How to Apply for a Grant Workshop" was held Tuesday 27 September 2016 from 10am to 12 noon in the Munro Community Centre. There were 13 participants representing  11 local community groups. The workshop was very well received and positive comments noted below:

" Very useful and informative."

" Well chosen speakers and exercises which will be of benefit in the future."   

" Excellent introduction and awareness of all aspects of fundraising."

 This was the 26th Workshop for community groups in the city which have attracted 400 people.
