New Park on site of Portobello High School/St Johns Primary

A brand new park is to be built on the site of the existing Portobello High School and St. John's Primary School. The new park is linked to the building of the two new schools and is expected to be delivered around autumn 2017. Planning starts now and from the end of June, until end December 2015 we want your ideas and suggestions about what you would like to see included in the new park. This will help shape the design, layout and equipment installed.
Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust’s (ELGT) on-line survey about new park is now live. Please encourage others to complete the survey to tell ELGT what they would like to see in the new park and to make suggestions about the name etc. The local feedback will help shape the design for the new park. Other opportunities to ‘Have Your Say’ face to face will be publicised. You can also register with ELGT to receive regular updates.

Our new local community plans are launched!

Each of the twelve Neighbourhood Partnerships have a local community plan, focussed on making your area a better place to be. Our new plans last from 2014 - 2017.

The local community plans outline the priorities that local people have told us about at local events, meetings and through surveys.

You can view the new plans online and find out more about how to get involved.
