Summer Reading Challenge: Story Lab
25th June - 26th August.
Challenge to to read six books over the summer, collecting stickers for each book read. Read six books and collect a certificate and a gold medal!

Title: Olympic Medals  and Olympic Flags

Craft Event: Come along and get ready for the Olympics. We will be making Olympic flags to take home or decorate the library and make you very own bronze, silver or even Gold medal (not real gold of course!) .

Title: Olympian Masks

Craft Event: Come along and make some Olympian masks, based on some of the Greek myths.

Kirkliston and South Queensferry Libraries
 
 Library Link
Library Link is a bus service for anyone who has difficulty getting to the library because of age, disability or ill health. The free minibus will pick you up from home and take you to your local library. The bus has wheelchair access and trained staff and WRVS volunteers are on hand to give assistance on and off the bus. You can choose your books, and then sit down to enjoy a coffee and a chat before being taken home again.
 
Home delivery service
The library service and WRVSvolunteers operate a home delivery service for people who are housebound or unable to travel to their local library. A selection of your favourite books, audio books and cds can be delivered to your door
 
LearnIT beginners' computer classes
Courses run for 6 weeks (each session last about two hours) at selected libraries. Handouts are provided to take away at a small cost.
