The 'Reducer' Joins Queensferry's 'Ferry Fair' Parade
The Council's 20mph mascot - 'The Reducer' joined the Ferry Fair festivities in South Queensferry on Saturday [13 Aug] The mascot, who was part of the annual parade, was cheered by onlookers and posed for photos with fellow revellers and children.
There was a big demand for the '20 mph slapbands' from children at the Almond Neighbourhood Partnership/ Queensferry and Dist. Community Council information table. The 20 mph information material was also popular with parents and others enjoying the day.
Councillor Norman Work - a South Queensferry resident and Convener of the Almond Neighbourhood Partnership commented
'As usual it was a great community day - well done to the organising committee - the parade was fantastic and it was good to see and hear the support for the 20 mph initiative'
