Environment Forum
The next meeting of the Environment Forum will be held
on Thursday 23 February 2012 at 7pm in
Northfield Community Centre. This will be a themed
meeting to focus on parks and open spaces with a presentation
from the Parks Team. The time has been changed from 10am to
7pm in response to requests from those people who are unable to
attend meetings during the day.
Neighbourhood Environment Programme
The Craigentinny & Duddingston Environment Forum
have access to limited funds to carry out environmental
improvements in the C&D area. Projects can be
nominated by local residents and decisions on which
projects should be approved are agreed by the Environment
Forum members.
In addition to receiving updates on nominated projects recent
meetings have included discussions on Network Rail, Craigentinny
Avenue / Portobello Road junction and Duddingston Traffic
congestion.
