Inverleith Youth Forum
Got an idea? Got an issue? Get involved!

The Inverleith Youth Forum is a chance for you to have your say
on issues that affect your life.
We can affect decisions made at a local level in the
neighbourhood, all the way up to the the Scottish Government.
You can make a difference!
We look at all sorts of issues including:
- Local transport such as buses and trams
- Parks and Graffiti
- Schools and after school activities
- Healthy eating and smoking
- Crime Sports facilities and clubs
We work closely with the Inverleith Neighbourhood Partnership,
which works to improve the quality of life in the area. The
opinions and suggestions of young people made at Local Youth
Forms are important to the Inverleith NP.
What else do we do?
We build links with other organisations, to make sure the voices
of young people are heard. We keep in touch with:
- Pupil/student councils
- Scottish Youth Parliament
- Edinburgh Youth Council
You could attend meetings with these groups to tell them about
your opinions and solutions to the issues that you feel are
important.
Who arranges our meetings?
The forum is supported by youth workers from your local
community learning and development team. To get involved and have
your say contact Paul James or phone Paul on 0131 332
6316.
