Community Grants Fund

The Neighbourhood Partnership Community Grants Fund is a small grants scheme (provided by the Council).
Neighbourhood Partnerships can award small grants of up to £5,000 to constitued groups for local community activity that supports the work of the Neighbourhood Partnership and its Local Community Plan.

Almost £22,000 was available in Portobllo and Craigmillar this year, and almost £16,000 was awarded at the meeting of 8 June.  The balance of nearly £6,000 was awarded at the meeting of the Neigbourhood Partnership on 14 September.  Eleven local projects benefitted from awards ranging from £250 to £4,000.

There is no funding left to allocate this year.  It is anticipated that there will be another Grants Fund next year, and this should be confirmed early in the new year.
