Portobello Beach wins Seaside Award
Portobello Beach wins Seaside Award

Keep Scotland Beautiful has recenty awarded Portobello beach a
Seaside Award.
Portobello is one of 61 Scottish beaches granted official
recognition for high standards of cleanliness, safety, and water
quality.
Keep Scotland Beautiful (KSB) has given "seaside award" status
to a total of 61 beaches, and this is the first time Portobello has
gained this status.
This recognises the good work undertaken by the Council's East
Team to maintain these standards, and the efforts of local people
and community groups striving to promote Portobello as a place to
live, work and play.
