ACE IT: Friendly and fun computer
sessions for the over 50's - get help with your computer, Ipad,
THE BITE 'N' BLETHER LUNCH
CLUB: For people aged 60+, is an
initiative jointly hosted by The Well Café and Arthur's Café. The
lunch club will provide hot, affordable, healthy food for older
people and with the aim of helping to reduce social isolation.
CARE & REPAIR:
Organisation that provides practical DIY help to anyone over the
age of 60. Also always looking for volunteers
Morningside Library - every Wednesday
morning - drop in session for the over 65's. Have a cup of
tea, a chat and find out what's going on.
CENTRE: Offers a range of activities or
simply visit their charity shopping mall or drop in for a

self-management hub, which aims to inspire and help people to
improve their health and wellbeing.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PROJECT: provides day services for
older people in the community of South Edinburgh.
CENTRE - CARERS CAFE - Provides a chance to meet
other carers for mutual support and devise a progranme of
activtities that the carers would like available to them.
PRESTONFIELD NEIGHBOURHOOD CENTRE -
MENS GROUP - Click here if you are feeling
isolated and looking for the company of other men.
PLEASANCE DAY CENTRE - MEMORY
CAFE - New Service (April 2015) for anyone affected by
Dementia, including families and carers.
BRAIDWOOD CENTRE -
DUMBIEDYKES - Community Centre run by local
volunteers. Variety of activities throughout the
VINTAGE VIBES: A fresh new
service tackling isolation and loneliness among 60+ in Edinburgh,
offering companionship, reliable support and the opportunity to be
more socially connected.
