Council Service Priorities

Special joint meetings of Neighbourhood Partnerships are taking
place across the city in November.
The Council is continuing to face tough financial challenges
over the coming years, with significant savings needing to be
made. The special meetings will provide an opportunity to
discuss what actions the Council can take to maintain, develop and
improve services in Edinburgh given this difficult financial
situation with the feedback helping to inform the setting of future
service priorities within the Council.
The dates of the meetings are:
South West and Pentlands - Wednesday, 9 November at 7 pm in
Gorgie Parish Church, Gorgie Road
Almond and Western Edinburgh - Tuesday, 15 November at 6.30 pm
in Craigmount High School, Craigs Road
Liberton and Gilmerton and South Central - Monday, 21 November
at 7 pm in the Business Centre, City Chambers, High Street
City Centre and Leith - Tuesday, 22 November at 6.30 pm in
Nelson Hall, McDonald Road Library
Craigentinny and Duddingston and Portobello and Craigmillar -
Wednesday, 23 November at 6.30 pm in the Royal High Primary School,
Northfield Broadway
Forth and Inverleith - Tuesday, 29 November at 6.30 pm in
Heriot's Rugby Club, Inverleith Row
Senior Managers from across the Council will be in
attendance.
Each meeting will last no longer than one and a half hours and
everyone attending will be able to contribute to the
discussion.
