Health Inequalities Group
The South West Neighbourhood Partnership Health Inequalities Group is a forum of health practitioners from various sectors working in the SWNP area. The group also covers a large portions of the Pentland Neighbourhood Partnership area as well, however activities of this group are focused on Wester Hailes and the surrounding communities.
At the last meeting in December 2009, the group agreed their focus would be in three main areas, and subgroups have been formed for each topic. These are:
- Substance Misuse
- Healthy Lifestyles and Health promotion
- Mental Health
