Inverleith

Inverleith Neighbourhood Partnership covers Inverleith ward, which includes the areas of Blackhall, Comely Bank, Craigleith, Drylaw, Inverleith, Dean Village and Stockbridge.

The area has a population of 29,639, living in 15,170 dwellings.

The Neighbourhood Partnership consists of representatives from Community Councils, Lothian & Borders Police, NHS, the Voluntary Sector and Councillors Hinds, McIvor, Whyte and McKay.

Councillor Iain Whyte is currently convenor.

 

 

Allotments Strategy Consultation

The first draft of the new Allotment Strategy ‘Cultivating Communities: A Growing Concern’ has now been completed and was presented to the Transport, Infrastructure and Environment Committee on 9 February 2010.  The Committee approved the document for wider consultation, and the consultation period has been extended  to run until 23 April 2010.
