Local Community Plan
Local Community Plans aim to improve the quality of life for people living in local communities, by developing programmes of activities and initiatives which develop and deliver better services. The Plan focuses on key community priorities which can clearly benefit from all partners working together to achieve better outcomes for local people.
Western Edinburgh Neighbourhood Partnership has agreed to the following draft priorities for actioion.
1. Promoting safer communities for all residents.
2. Making our environment cleaner, more attractive and promoting sustainable lifestyles and develoment.
3. Developing a range of activities and resources for young peole.
4 Improving our public transport networks within the area.
5. Promoting healthy living.
These priorities can only be achieved through partnership working and the local community has a crucial role to play in this progress. We are committed to ensuring that local people can be fully involved in the development of the Community Plan for Western Edinburgh.
