Local Community Plan
What is a Local Community Plan?
Local Community Plans aim to improve the quality of life for people living in local neighbourhoods, by developing programmes of activities and initiatives which develop and deliver better services. This Plan focuses on key community priorities, which can clearly benefit from all partners working together to achieve better outcomes for local people.
Almond Neighbourhood Partnership has agreed to the following draft priorities for action to help achieve the above.
1. Provide more activies for young people.
2. Improve Services for older people and becoming better at engaging with older people.
3. Making our environment cleaner, more attractive and sustainable, and valuing our local heritage.
4 Improving our public transport networks and roads.
5. Promoting healthy lifestyles and better health.
The priorities outlined above can only be achieved through partnership working and the local community has a crucial role to play in the process. We are committed to ensuring that local people can be fully involved in the development of this Community Plan.
