Allotments Strategy Consultation

The first draft of the new Allotment Strategy ‘Cultivating Communities: A Growing Concern’ has now been completed and was presented to the Transport, Infrastructure and Environment Committee on 9 February 2010. The Committee approved the document for wider consultation, and the consultation period has been extended to run until 23 April 2010.

Volunteers wanted - cycle path clean-up

Inverleith - Local Sustrans volunteers are arranging a clean up of the path between Craigleith and Davidson’s Mains, as part of a larger event. If you can lend a hand please meet at 9am, Sunday 28 March, at Bangholm Outdoor Centre, Craighall Gardens, EH6 4RH. Refreshments will be provided at 1pm.

Timebanking in Inverleith is being developed to help people share their free time with others in the community. By 'banking' a little of your time, you could help your neighbours for example with dog-walking, DIY or reading for example, and can 'withdraw' time from others when you need it!
