Welcome to the Portobello & Craigmillar Neighbourhood Partnership home page. We are ideally placed, with a castle, the seaside and plenty of parks and green space. We are keen to maintain and improve these attractions.

The Council's new East Neighbourhood Centre, and Craigmillar Library, is now open for business at 101 Niddrie Mains Road.

Need some help with computing? Learn about IT at our classes, ask at the library.

We will commission a memorial sculpture of Helen Crummy, inspiration behind the Craigmillar Festival Society, to be installed outside the Centre. See the brief here - the selection process is underway and the final selection will be made at the end of May.

An appeal has been heard in the Courts to prevent the Council building a school in Portobello Park. Click here to read the Council respose to the ruling not to build a school there.

The Partnership is delighted to announce that not one but TWO of its parks retained their Green Flag Awards. Craigmillar Castle Country Park and Portobello Community Garden both have Green Flags.
