Edinburgh Treefest & Woodmarket 2008 attracted over 30,000 visitors during the weekend. There were over 100 stands / attractions ~ including chainsaw carving, extreme mountain biking, axe throwing, interactive crafts, sustainably produced wood products and crafts, renewable energy, information, games and activities
Carnival of Trees Procession worked with 3 primary schools - Flora Stevenson's, Craigentinny & Murrayburn. This involved pre-event environmental art & music sessions to create masks & costumes and learn drumming rhythmns and culminated in large parade led by horse loggers and arborists through Stockbridge - with around 150 children!
