Website Accessibility
This website aims to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide
Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
1.0. (These guidelines explain how to make web content more
accessible for people with disabilities).
This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards
for XHTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers
and using standards compliant XHTML/CSS code means any future
browsers will also display it correctly.
Whilst we strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and
standards for accessibility and usability, it may not always be
possible to do so in all areas of the website.
We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all
areas of the site up to the same level of overall accessibility. In
the meantime should you experience any difficulty in accessing the
Neighbourhood Partnership website, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Using the site
Maps
We have used Google maps to help describe the boundaries
of Neighbourhood Partnership areas. If you are not able to view or
use the maps, or you require a section of the boundary to be
explained please contact us on 0131 469 5281. You may also
wish to use the postcode search on the home page.
Size of text
The text size in this website can be controlled using the
in-built settings on your browser. On Windows machines this
can be achieved by holding down control (CTRL) and using the + and
- keys. On Apple Macintosh machines hold down the "Apple key"
and use the + and - keys to increase the text size.
High contrast
There is a High Contrast button on the top right of the
screen on the website home page to support users who require high
contrast.
