We are a broad based partnership group made up of local residents and a number of representatives from community support agencies. We are all active in the community with a concern about dementia and its impact on local people. Our Aims
To improve theQUALITY of LIFEfor all people living with dementia so they can live as independently as possible in their own community.
To promoteUNDERSTANDINGandAWARENESSof dementia to help support those with dementia and their carers.
To establish a number of INITIATIVES in South Queensferry to develop support networks - encouraging the public, voluntary organisations and businesses to work together.
To work in COLLABORATION with Alzheimer Scotland and other dementia friendly initiatives to promote Edinburgh as a Dementia Friendly City.
