Feeling Safe Community Forum
The Feeling Safe Community Forum is one of five community forums, which are part of Leith Neighbourhood Partnership. This forum has been established to deliver priority three of the Leith Community Plan which is to create an environment where people feel safe, we do this by following the Leith Community Plan.
Our Community Chairperson is Stan Eadie, our sponsor is Councillor Nick Gardner (Leith Walk Ward). Simon Porteous (Community Safety Manager, City of Edinburgh Council) and Inspector Kevin McLean (Police Scotland) are our support officers.
Public meeting - Saturday 23 March 2013, 11am in South Leith Parish Halls
Our second public meeting has now been held, an update will be provided here shortly.
Your community, your concerns, our priorities
Everyone who lives, works or studies in Leith may submit a suggestion for a Leith safer neighbourhood prioritiy.
Every three months suggestions will be considered and a selection put to the public vote at our quaterly public meetings. A maximum of six can be voted as priorities, 3 for Leith Ward and 3 for Leith Walk Ward.
