Harvesters Way Development

At their meeting on the 21st of March 2013 the Council Finance and Budget Committee approved the disposal of 2.7 hectares of land to Places for People. The site will be disposed of to Places for People for the purpose of building mixed tenure affordable housing.
By disposing of the site to Places for People at nil value the Council will effectively make a notional contribution of £376,000 to the development of new affordable homes in the City.
The next step in this process is the sending of an application to the Scottish Ministers for consent to dispose of the land to Places for People. If the Council gets Scottish Government consent the Legal and Estates Teams will arrange the transfer of land.
