Operation Cipher 5

Operation Cipher 5 is a colaborative initiative involving the Fire Service, housing officers, community safety teams, waste services and environmental wardens with the aim of reducing secondary fires, such as fires in stairwells, grass areas and the burning bulk household items. The operation will run during the weeks beginning 7 and 14 April, leading up to Easter. The first week targeting the Forrester Park area and the second week in the Drum Brae area.

In addition, There would be a Scottish Fire and Rescure road show at the Drumbrae/Brae Lib Hub on 17 April

10.30 - 12.30      Scottish Fire and Rescue joint visits with housing staff, environmental wardens, to       designated streets within Drum Brae Drive/Durar Drive

10.30 - 12.30      Waste Services Road Show at Drumbrae Library Hub

10.30 - 12.30     Trading Standards Show at Drumbrae Library Hub
