The Community Council covers Ratho, Ratho Station and Newbridge
together with the outlying communities at Ingliston, Gogar,
Roddinglaw and Bonnington.
While we are concerned with all matters affecting our area the
large majority of our efforts relate to planning issues for example
the Newbridge Regeneration plan, housing Ratho Station and the CALA
proposals for the Freelands Road site in Ratho. We have also made
considerations and representations in respect of the Edinburgh
Rural Local Plan, the West Edinburgh Planning Framework, and
Edinburgh Airport Railway Link.
