South West Community Safety Subgroup
South West Community Safety Subgroup
This group is a sub group of the Neighbourhood Partnership and
focuses on all community safety issues. This group is made up of
staff from Services for Communities, Children& Families, Fire
& Rescue and the Police. The Community Safety Sub group
acts as a mechanism for the community to feed in concerns and
information related to community safety. It will also acts as the
monitoring group for the community safety activities contained in
the Local Community Plan.
The current priorities set 24th March by this group are:
Ward 7
- Parking outside primary Schools in Ward 7
- Explore Dispersal Order Westside Plaza- Consider for 6 month
priority re planning and execution
- Student parking in Sighthill
Ward 9
- Watson CrescentAntisocial Behaviour
- UnionCanal - Antisocial behaviour and cyclists
