Community Grants Info
The Neighbourhood Partnership budget amounts to £36,154 in 2008/09.This includes £225 carried over from 2007/08.
The Neighbourhood Partnership recommended the following awards at its meeting on 17 June 2008.
- £3,644 to North Edinburgh Childcare to support trips for local children attending holiday clubs
- £2,650 to Circle (formerly the Family Service Unit) to support two projects for the North Edinburgh Children?s Parliament
- £4,927 to North Edinburgh Arts to support an in-house music project
- £3,030 to Granton Youth Service to carry out a youth consultation project in the Trinity area
- £3,150 to Pilton Retreat for the purchase of new playground equipment
- £1,260 to Pilton Youth and Childrens Project (PYCP) to support a week long hip-hop festival
- £1,650 to Royston Wardieburn Community Council for the installation of three external noticeboards
An award of £3,151 was also made to Pilton Equalities Project under SO84.

Leaving a balance of £12,692 in the Community Grants Fund for future allocation in 2008/09.

- £1,391 to Pilton Community Health Project to support more people to access health services.
- £3,000 to Holy Cross/St Margaret Mary's Youth Club to support a newly established youth club.
- £4,540 to North Edinburgh Shorts Group to support production of a youth based film.
- £1,000 to Neo Productions to create and stage an original play involving BME groups.
