What do Edinburgh residents think about their neighbourhoods?

The Edinburgh Peoples Survey (EPS) 2012 has reported, and highlights the level of satisfaction in their neighbourhoods.

The 5 top priorities for Portobello and Craigmillar are:

1. road improvements and safety
2. clean up the area/street cleaning/rubbish collection
3. activities for children and young people
4. improved/ more affordable housing
5. parking improvements

Parking improvements is a new priority: the others have featured regularly over the years.

The findings will be used to continually improve local service delivery across the city.
