Community Grants Info
The Partnership can award small grants of up to £5,000 from the Community Grants Fund. Groups can use the grant for local community activity that supports the work of the Partnership and the Local Community Plan.
For the coming year, 2012/13, the Partnership has £57,383 to award to suitable projects.

This year, 2011/12, 25 groups have benefited from fund grants totalling £57,373. A full list of awards can be found here.

Examples of the groups and projects which have received funding are:
- The Eric Liddell Centrewas awarded a grant of £1,179 in to enable the introduction of Ad-Pod Technology which would be used to promote the Centre.
- Cameron House and Prestonfield Bowling Clubwas awarded £4,222 to buy a specially adapted wheelchair and a refurbished lawnmower
- Aria Alba Opera For All, a new amateur opera company based in Bruntsfield was awarded £1,363 to provide a platform for young singers and bring operatic performances to new audiences.
- Access to Industry - Dumbiedykes Gardening Projectwas awarded £1,750 to include unemployed people from the South Central area who are keen on learning more about organic gardening.
- The Bike Stationwas awarded £955 to run a series of Dr Bike workshops and information clinics in collaboration with the police around the time that the clocks change.
