Public Conveniences Survey

Public Conveniences Survey

The customer survey about public toilets in Edinburgh closed on Monday 25 May 2015. The feedback received from members of the public will inform the decision making process on which public toilets will remain open and which ones will be closed.

The closure of these toilets will mean that the Council can make a vital budget saving of £300,000.

Feedback from the survey is being analysed and the results will be made available after 5 June 2015.

Public Conveniences Survey goes live

Edinburgh residents are being asked to participate in a survey about the closure of a number of public toilets outside of the city centre.
The Council made the decision in 2011 to reduce the funding of public conveniences in order to make vital budget savings of £300,000. Around 10 public toilets are to close in order to achieve this.
