Local Community Plan

Community Plan 2011 to 2014

Local Community Plans aim to improve the quality of life for people living in local neighbourhoods, by developing programmes of activities and initiatives which develop and deliver better services. This Plan focuses on key community priorities, which can clearly benefit from all partners working together to achieve better outcomes for local people.

We listened to you through our online survey, consultation and community events and have now produced a summary plan to take us through to 2014.

Almond Neighbourhood Partnership has agreed to the following priorities for action to help achieve the above:

  • Increased opportunities for childre and young people
  • Make our communities safer
  • Promote healthier, connected communities
  • Create a cleaner, greener, more attractive place to live
  • Support access to work, skills development and employability
  • Making our built environment as attractive as possible.

The priorities outlined above can only be achieved through partnership working and the local community has a crucial role to play in the process. We are committed to ensuring that local people can be fully involved in the development of this Community Plan
