What do Edinburgh Residents think about their neighbourhoods
The Edinburgh Peoples Survey (EPS) 2011 has reported, and highlights the level of satisfaction of residents in their neighbourhood.
The 5 top priorities in Portobello & Craigmillar are:
- Clean up the area/improved street cleaning
- Road/traffic improvements
- Deal with dog fouling
- Shopping, entertainment amenities
- Activities for children and young people
Tackling anti-social behaviour has given way to the shopping entertainment priority in 2011. The other four have been fairly constant over the years.
The findings will be used to continually improve local service delivery across the city.
