Explore Saughton Park!

Saughton Estate dates back to at least the early 17th century. This spring the roots of Saughton Park will be explored through archival research and archaeological excavations. Join us!

Launch Event, Thurs 15th May 2014 at 7pm - Saughton Park Winter Gardens                                                                                                  Find out about the history of Saughton Park, the upcoming archaeological investigations and plans for the park's restoration and how you can be involved!

Local history research workshop, Mon 19th May 2014, 1pm-4pm - RCAHMS Search Room, John Sinclair House, 16 Bernard Terrace                                                                                                       Uncover the history of Saughton Hall with designed landscapes expert Marilyn Brown.
