Forth Youth Forum
North Edinburgh Young People's
Forum
Got an idea? Got an issue? Get involved!
The North Edinburgh Young People's Forum is somewhere for you to
have your say and challenge issues that affect your life and your
community.
We can challenge and affect decisions made at a local level and
at Government level.
You can make a difference!
We look at all sorts of issues including:
- Local transport such as buses and trams
- Parks and Graffiti
- Schools and after school activities
- Healthy eating and smoking
- Crime and sports facilities
- And any other issues that arise.
In the past we have worked with the Forth Neighbourhood
Partnership to coordinate a meeting which showed the brilliant
contribution that local young people make to the area. The meeting
had local community representatives, councillors and other agencies
like the Police and the Health Service who saw what we can do!
What else do we do?
We Build links with other organisations, to make sure the voices
of young people are heard.
Who arranges our meetings?
The Forum is supported by Youth Workers from your local
Community Learning and Development team.
To get involved and have your say contact Rab Byfield at
Broughton High School or Danielle Ward at West Pilton neighbourhood
Centre.
