About Us
South Central covers three distinct areas of the south of
the city.
Southside/Newington covers the areas to the south west of
Holyrood Park including Dumbiedykes, Southside, Newington, Sciennes
and Prestonfield to the north and the Grange, Blackford and
Blackford Hill.
Tollcross town centre lies across the South Central, South West
and City Centre Neighbourhood Partnerships with two-thirds falling
within South Central.
Meadows/Morningside is a vibrant community continuing on from
Tollcross and is fortunate to include a number of the city's
parklands including the Meadows & Bruntsfield Links,
Morningside Park (including the Susi Wong Sensory Garden) and
Hermitage of Braid.
