Suggest a Feeling Safe Neighbourhood Priority
We ask everyone who lives, work, studies or volunteers in Leith to tell us what we can do to make Leith a safer place.
Some things we can easily resolve by adding to our day to day work or are perhaps better dealt with by another Community Forum, Council department or partner agency, if this is the case we will forward on your comment/suggestion to them.
Some suggestions, which are suitable, will go to the public vote and could potentially be one of our four quaterly Feeling Safe Neighbourhood Priorities. These are voted for by the public and will be in effect for three months. We might not be able to allocate any additional finances but we will be able to direct existing resources towards addressing the matter.
Copied below are some examples of recent priorties. Please note that until March 2014, these priorities were known as Safer Neighbourhood Priorities.
We are now collecting suggestions for possible priorities covering the period September/October/November 2014.
