Edinburgh Fuel Poverty Map

The Edinburgh Fuel Poverty Map report (published May 2015) compiled on behalf of the Council by Changeworks presents a fuel poverty mapping overview of Edinburgh using data as of March 2015. The fuel poverty map allows estimation of fuel poverty density by data zone and is based on factors that increase the likelihood of households living in fuel poverty (such as single pensioners and unemployed residents). It offers a useful resource for targeting energy efficiency provision to areas most in need through programmes such as Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland: Area Based Schemes (HEEPS: ABS).
