Community Activist Training

Do you want to build on your skills and knowledge, or learn new ones that will help you make a real difference in your community?

Are you or anyone you know active in your community?

Or a community activist?

What is the difference?

A new course for people who are resident or active in Leith or the Old Town starts in January 2016.

 

This lively and enjoyable course will have lots of opportunities to share experiences and learn from each other and will cover:

  • Exploring and understanding community activism
  • Your Community: who are they and how do you reach them?
  • Taking control of what affects your community
  • Putting your skills into practice.

  Leith Neighbourhood Partnership together with City Centre Neighbourhood Partnership will be launching the new course.  Service partners involved are Community Learning and Development (CLD), Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council (EVOC), Edinburgh Tenants' Federation (ETF) and Services for Communities(SfC).
