Community Councils a vital part of Neighbourhood Partnerships

Community councils are groups of local people who care about their community and want to make their area a better place to live.  There are 42 community councils in Edinburgh.  Boundary Map

Each community council has a representative on the Neighbourhood Partnership for its area. Community councils act to ensure that local people can have a say in the way services are delivered  by seeking and expressing the views of the community. The video below explains the role of community councils.
