Tracking our progress
Each of the 12 Neighbourhood Partnerships (NPs) across the city develop Local Community Plans, and then work together to deliver these. At the heart of all the Local Community Plans are priorities identified by local people.
Each NP is different and a wide range of activities are developed to best suit the issues or local concerns of each particular area. It is likely that many of these will contribute to efforts to tackle deprivation at a local level.
Each year, the NPs report on the progress of the Local Community Plans. The most recent report was presented to Committee in February 2014.
Improving the way we work together
In 2013, a review of NPs took place. Involving community and partner stakeholders, sounding board sessions, discussions and desktop research was carried out. Feedback from this informed the improvement options outlined in the report to the Communities and Neighbourhoods Committee in May 2013.
On 30 September 2009, a one off event called Going Forward Together was held for 185 delegates representing each of the 12 NP areas. The day aimed to help us work better as partners by focussing on what we can achieve together. You can find out more about that event by reading the Going Forward Together Report from the day.
