Census 2011
The 2011 Census is a survey of all people and households throughout the UK. It is the only source of information which covers the whole of Scotland and the UK on a consistent basis, whilst also providing highly local information. Please note that a few questions asked in the Census were particular to Scotland, or to England and Wales.
Such detailed information is a valuable resource for local communities, businesses and public agencies. It can highlight local issues, provide an insight into local market areas, and assist with the planning of services.
The 2011 results are now available to view on the Council website.
