Leith Renewable Energy Plant Information Meeting
Wednesday, 9 February 2011 at Drummond Community High School
Answers
from Forth Energy to questions asked
The first period of consultation has closed
and the first response from one of the Statutory
Consultees is expected shortly. This will either be the
response from SEPA or SNH. Once this is submitted, it triggers
the second period of public
consultation. Advertisements will be placed and
stakeholders will be notified - the advertisements will be placed
for 2 weeks, and then there is a further 28 day
period for consultation. The start date is
dependent on SNH/SEPA, however the Energy Consents Unit have given
both an extension of time to respond until 1st April, so
it is likely to be during April. If the 28 day period falls over
the Easter break it will be extended to account for the holiday
days.
